8 days, 30 independent businesses, 2500 printed Indie Trail Maps, 73 competition entries & 1 prize drawer winner!
It's Christmas eve eve and the independent businesses of Chapel Allerton are celebrating the successful closure of the first Chapel Allerton Indie Trail 2019. A week campaign created by the local "indie's" launched on Black Friday 29th over 8 days building up to Christmas to promote the wonderful independent alternatives and destination spots available on the Chapel Allerton Map!
Congratulations to Nikki Drew who has been selected at random by MJC Accountants (who co-sponsored the campaign) winning the £150 of vouchers to spend on the high street- the perfect way to start the festivities.
"What a wonderful idea to encourage new destination shopping for local independent businesses, avoiding the big chains and supermarkets. We moved to the area in the summer and are absolutely thrilled to be part of this huge community spirit. We are even more thrilled to be winners of the Chapel Allerton Indie Trail prize- It has opened our eyes to independent outlets we had never heard of before!" Nikki Drew
